Mr. Sharp served in the Army Air Corps in China during World War II. He attended both Indiana Central and Butler Universities in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was an Alzafar Shriner since 1978 and was a member of the Blue Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary "Judy" Sharp, and son, Jon David Sharp.
William is survived by his daughter, Karen Sue Hurn and husband William; grandson, Nicholas E. Feerer and wife Ashlee; great-granddaughter, Ava R. Feerer; sister, Mary Dolores Warren; numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Services and interment will be private.
