Yvonne J. Barloco

She was preceded in death by her beloved father, and her mother and father in-law.

She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Herbert E. Schmidt; her husband of 54 years, Benjamin Jerome; her children, Constance and David Rawlinson, Benjamin and Dawn Barloco III, Vyonne and Rick Flores, Wayne and Maureen Barloco, Mary and Keith Wright, Dymphna and Stuart Cooley, Dawn and Craig Pamperin, and Heidi Barloco; her 17 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren; brothers, Herbert, Richard and Edward; sisters, Bridget and Kathleen.

With her devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe and St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church, she dedicated 25 years of service to the parish, recently receiving for her senior meals program "An Outstanding Senior Volunteer" award from the City of San Antonio Comprehensive Nutrition Program.

Earlier years found her following in her mother-in-law Josefa E. Barloco's footsteps creating masterful bridal cakes. Our family offers special thanks to Father William Bill Collins for his love and support of my wife and our mother.

We also thank numerous family and friends whose thoughts and prayers supported us over these past few months. We would like to extend our gratitude to VistaCare and their staff. A gathering will begin on Sunday, April 12, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. at St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church, followed by the rosary at 7:00 p.m.
