

Dalton Ray Ford, born on September 3rd, 1960 in DeRidder, Louisiana. He was the fifth of seven children born to James and Arlene Ford. He passed away peacefully, leaving a legacy of love, strength and dedication to his family and friends.
Dalton was preceded in death by his brother James Ford, Jr., sister Sharon Ford and father James Ford, Sr.
Dalton began his career with the San Bernardino Unified School District steadily advancing to the role of Custodian Supervisor III over a dedicated 40 year tenure.
A decision that brought him much fulfillment and lifelong friendships.
Dalton will be remembered by his family and friends for his caring and loving spirit, as well as his vibrant personality that made him the life of the party. He cherished his family, had a passion for fishing, and was well known for his unwavering love the Dallas Cowboys.
Dalton leaves to cherish his memory; his wife, Annie Ford, his children Steven Collins (Kaitlyn), of Texas, MaiTai Collins, Myesha Collins, Shemeka Cash, Sharon Le’anna Ford, and Makayla Ford.
His mother Arlene Ford, Sisters Geri Miller (Dwayne) of California, Anita Ford of Colorado, Terri Young (Bobby) of Hawaii and Brother Anthony Baggett (Kathy) of Tennessee.
Grandchildren Ayla Smallwood, Tyrell McGhee Jr., Myles Garcia, Isaias Collins and Judah Collins
And a host of family and friends who loved him.
A visitation for Dalton will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2025 from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM at Mt. View Mortuary & Cemetery, 570 East Highland Ave, San Bernardino, CA 92404.
