Dr. Christine “Kaye” Campbell passed away peacefully at the age of 78 in the early morning hours of April 13, 2019 after a prolonged battle with heart and kidney disease. Kaye was born on March 9, 1941 and grew up in San Diego, California where she made life-long friends. She had a passion for education and went on to achieve a Doctorate of Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Kaye then began a long-lasting and rewarding private practice where she touched countless lives and made a positive impact in the community helping people.
Kaye is survived by her daughter, Susan Kaye Quinn, and her son, Ed Durlak. Her children were everything to her, and in her later years, she came to share their passions of writing and sports. As her children began their own families, Kaye was involved. She enjoyed and loved a bevy of grandchildren: Jenny Durlak and Adam, Samuel & Ryan Quinn. Kaye was a positive person with a great spirit who connected well with people and cherished life even as her health declined. She was thoughtful and kind and will be missed by all those who respected and loved her.
