I don’t even know where to start because this still feels unreal., I pass by your cubicle hoping to see you one last time. You were my co-worker, but more importantly my friend. Six and a half years of laughter, messing with Yolo, talking about our other “special” co-workers, talking about our kids, and having a few drinks with our friend group. I will cherish every memory we shared and continue to smile when I think of you. I will miss you always my Friend, until we meet again….

With sadness in my heart that I write this
Gina was more than a sister in law too me she was more of a sister I never had she came into our family at a young age of 15 shy alone and quite pregnant with her first child still going school while pregnant with all her kids the 3 older ones she did..I knew I wasn't the only female now it was Gina myself my Grandma tencha in a house full of men..
Although the years we shared alot of sad and happy times together their was never a moment that me and Gina ever had a misunderstanding or argument Never!!
We could talk about anything to each other we had a lot of laughs. I knew the Gina before her kids and after her kids 
I knew I had to make her feel comfortable and how she must of felt coming into someones home not really knowing anyone I felt bad  she eventually opened up and ever since we just been good with each other.. after her and my brother divorce Gina still came around and partied with us come to the gatherings Gina also continued to help my dad with his finances making sure that everything was current she didn't have to but she did
I Thank you! For all that you did for all.of us you are gonna be dearly missed here but one day we will see each other again
Boy!! What a reunion and party is going on up there with all of you !!

RIH GINA

I called her "My Gina", and others in our office at CDPH would reference her as "Your Gina" when communicating.  

Because I was always forgetting something,  She was the left side of my brain, my ride to events, My personal GPS, because my sense of direction is terrible even with a map of instructions.  

She would always call me to make sure nothing happened to me,  and ask where was I...and of course I would be lost. It seem like she made me her personal project,  because She always looked out for me.  I will truly miss my partner in crime. 

We worked out, had what we called "Pit Stops" she would call me and then stop by my house on her way from or to somewhere just to make sure I was ok..

I really miss her and sometimes sit in her cubicle that sits next to mine and just remember 7 yrs of good times.

My deepest sympathies for Gins's family and friends.  The one thing I always will remember about Gina was her smile and her laugh.  She was always so accommodating and willing to help me, no matter how busy she was. I loved her sharing pictures on social media of her family, especially how much she loved all of you. She definitely left a void and will be missed. May God bring you comfort in your time of sorrow, knowing she was well-loved by many.
