James Henry Zane, Sr., 86, passed away on February 18, 2026, at his residence in San Bernardino, California. Born in Arizona, he proudly served his country in the United States Navy aboard the USS Buckley 808. He received the Good Conduct Medal and was honorably discharged after four years of dedicated service.
James is survived by his beloved wife, Yolanda Zane; his two daughters, Brandi Zane and Debra Zane; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his two sons, James H. Zane, Jr., and Timothy Zane.
He was cherished by family and friends for his strength, dedication to his family, faith and unwavering love for those closest to him. James will be remembered for his service, resilience and the lasting impact he made on everyone who knew him.
His memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
A memorial service will be held at Mt. View Mortuary on March 2, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.
