Today we say good bye to our Father and Grandfather who along with our Mother taught us by example to console, to understand, to love, to give, to pardon and to serve.
Jesus G. Gomez passed away on September 30, 2012. He was born January 4, 1924 in Tepehuanes, Durango, Mexico. He leaves behind his wife of 71 years, Maria C. Gomez in the loving care of his family, Luis Gomez, Angel Gomez(Lupe), Josefina Ventura(Ramon), Emma Lechuga(David),Antolin Gomez (Cyndra), Dora Melgoza(Roland), Eva Gudino(Carlos), Maria Elena Thompson(Mike), Rosa Maria Chavez(Frank) and 27 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great- grand- children. He was predeceased by his children, Dolores, Manuel, Carlos, Francisco(Kiko)Gomez, grandson, Joaquin Gomez and adopted son Alfonso Lezo.
Visitation will be held on Thursday Oct. 4th, from 5-8pm, with Rosary beginning at 6pm at Mt. View Mortuary, 570 E. Highland Ave. in San Bernardino, and Funeral Service will be held on Friday Oct. 5th at 10am also at Mt.View Mortuary, Interment will take place at Mt. View Cemetery.
