 Dearest Kenney 
We miss you so much. There is not a day that goes by that we don't mention your name.  You left so many memories. 
Lelah is 20 and a junior at Redland. Lanah is 9th grade and playing basketball.  Today, she had two layups and and their team won. Letha is happily married to a great guy, and they are expecting a little girl in  March. We lost Rock in June 2023.
Theresa and Char are doing okay. 
I am doing okay.  The grandkids give me purpose. I hope I am here to see our first great Grandchild. Love you always ❤️ 

Happy Birthday, Dad!

I miss you and think of you on your birthday and always.  You were an awesome Dad... truly the best father and grandfather. I'm sorry that it's taken me so long to write, Dad. But, you know as well as anyone, that for me, being a writer, words have always been powerful. I write and something happens... a call to action... but there are no words that can bring you back. It has taken me several years to accept the reality and gravity of you not being here. Dad, I pray that you rest in peace until we meet again.

I use to work with Kenny at the San Bernardino P&DC and he was a very good man. I transferred to Illinois and just saw that Kenny passed. This news hurt my heart. My condolences are with the family. Your friend Kenny, Marquita Woods

Today we had one of your favorite meals, The family called and singed happy birthday to you. Theresa brought a dozens ballons and we each wrote a message to you.
Lanah and Lelah miss you so very much, today was hard for them. I tell them you are their special Angel and you watch over them everyday.

I have not accepted your death in my heart.  I really try to be strong for our family. I expect you to walk in the door any minute. I Love you with all of my heart.

What can I say...I am truly sad that you are no longer with me. Anybody that knows me HAS to know how I feel about you. I LOVE YOU DAD and I KNOW YOU KNEW because I told you all the time. I feel hurt by you being gone but know that you are in a better place and feeling good which is more important than anything... I WILL keep all my promises to you and ITRULY understand the purpose of our WEEKLY talks about my attitude and SHORTCOMINGS (our inside joke). In case you didnt know I thought you were the greatest thing since sliced bread!!!! Cooler than the OTHER side of the pillow. You were a true example of UNCONDITIONAL POSITIVE REGARD and that is a hard thing to do. I will miss your laugh, jokes, giving me a hard time and especially your BEAUTIFUL FEET!!!!
