Maria Guadalupe Garcia Alvarado

Maria Guadalupe Garcia Alvarado, 73, died July 16th 2023 at her home in San Bernardino, California. Her funeral services will be held at Mt. View Mortuary and Cemetery on July 26th 2023 for viewing from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and July 27th 2023 for a funeral service from 10:30 am - 11:30 am.

Maria is survived by her daughters Olivia Ruiz, Alicia Garcia, and Angelica Garcia; sons Sergio Garcia, Jorge Garcia, and Guillermo Garcia; grandchildren Jorge Ruiz, Michelle Garcia, Junior Garcia, Christian Ruiz, Rebecca Garcia, Bianca Sanchez, Jonathan Garcia, Andrew Ruiz, Yaneli Vasquez, Juan Manuel Garcia, and Julian Rivera; great grandchildren Jianna Ruiz, Sophia Prado, Maddelyn Ruiz, Elliot Marin, and Ezekiel Marin.

Maria was born on December 12, 1949 to Maria Paniagua and Jesus Alvarado. She was born in Vista Hermosa Michoacán, Mexico. She was the oldest of 8 children. Maria was married to Juan Manuel Garcia for 46 years. They had 7 children, 11 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.

Maria was a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking for her children and grandchildren, especially making their favorite dishes for them when they wanted them. She is better known for always being kind, loving, and making everyone feel welcomed. Everyone felt like family because of the loving energy she gave off and felt lucky enough to meet her. “She was the true definition of a grandmother”.

Maria will be missed dearly, and will forever be in our hearts.

View Mortuary and Cemetery el 26 de julio de 2023 de 4:00 p. m. a 8:00 p. m. y el 27 de julio de 2023 para un funeral de 10:30 a. m. a 11:30 a. m.

A María le sobreviven sus hijas Olivia Ruiz, Alicia García y Angélica García; hijos Sergio García, Jorge García y Guillermo García; nietos Jorge Ruiz, Michelle García, Junior García, Christian Ruiz, Rebecca García, Bianca Sánchez, Jonathan García, Andrew Ruiz, Yaneli Vásquez, Juan Manuel García y Julián Rivera; bisnietos Jianna Ruiz, Sophia Prado, Maddelyn Ruiz, Elliot Marin y Ezekiel Marin.

María nació el 12 de diciembre de 1949 de María Paniagua y Jesús Alvarado. Nació en Vista Hermosa Michoacán, México. Era la mayor de 8 hijos. María estuvo casada con Juan Manuel García durante 46 años. Tuvieron 7 hijos, 11 nietos y 5 bisnietos.

María fue una madre y abuela devota. Le gustaba cocinar para sus hijos y nietos, especialmente prepararles sus platos favoritos cuando los querían. Es mejor conocida por ser siempre amable, amorosa y hacer que todos se sientan bienvenidos. Todos se sintieron como en familia por la energía amorosa que desprendía y se sintieron lo suficientemente afortunados de conocerla. “Ella era la verdadera definición de una abuela”.

Extrañaremos mucho a María y siempre estará en nuestros corazones.
