My memories of Marie began when my mother and Marie worked together. My family adopted her into our family and my mother took care of her. After my my mother died I took over the job. Made sure she had food, medicine and personal items. It was kind of hard because I live in Oregon. We would have lengthy talks and she would share amazing stories of her life. I miss you everyday.

I met Marie when I was in my twenties. I took care of her yard and often shared conversation .I will truly miss this amazing woman.I love you

To Whom it may concern:
Marie Pruitt and I became friends when we met through the Penny Saver. She bought my IBM Selectric II Typewriter and named it "Jewel".  I have several typed letters she would send me. We had many visits together before I moved to Nevada, then it became lengthy talks on the phone. When we spoke last Marie said she was fading fast. My recent phone calls to you with no answer, I assumed the worst so I checked online and found her obituary. I'm saddened that I had to find out this way but I know she is better off now. She was a very interesting woman; went through a lot during her lifetime. She really loved her Hershey chocolate drops. Bye, Marie; love you.   Yvonne Marie Taylor
