God's Garden...
 
God looked around his garden
 And He found an empty place.
 Then He looked down upon the earth,
 And saw your beautiful, yet tired face.
 He put His arms around you,
 And lifted you to rest.
 God's garden must be beautiful,
 He always takes the best.
He saw the road was getting rough,
 And the hills were hard to climb.
 He did not want you to suffer,
 or to be in pain,
 He knew that you could not
 get well here on earth again.
 So He closed your weary eyelids,
 And whispered "Peace be thine."
 It broke our hearts to lose you.
 But you didn't go alone,
 For part of us went with you,
 The day God called you home. 

 Nannie is so loved, she will be forever missed. Whenever I feel that emptiness in my heart from missing her, I'll remember how blessed I have been to have had her in my life!

I remember my 1st memory of Grandma Nan its the 1st time that I met her, she was in her kitchen on Maple St roasting chilies & she was in her bra & some rolled up pants! I wondered why Johnny wasn't embarrassed bcz I certainly was shocked (not being used to that) but I soon learned thats just the way Grandma was, she was 1 spunky strong willed woman. I loved her & envied her spirit. My condolences to the family, my prayers are with you all. All my love Rita

I only met you one Nannie, but your spirit was great

 I only met Aunt Nan once or twice as a young girl. May your family find peace and comfort in all of your memories of her.

It was in June of 2006 during the occasion of 210 Freeway opening ceremony when I met your beloved mother. She was walking with you and your wife along the stretch of 210 Freeway from Riverside Avenue Exit to about half a mile towards East San Bernardino.
     She was beautiful and healthy considering her age at that time. Moreover, I remember seeing her very happy to be with you on such special occasion in our area.
     She will always be remembered as a very lovely, healthy, and strong lady.

Nannie was a wild one.  She had an adventureous spirit, and a tough attitude. She was the " Little Old Lady From Pasadena." When Nannie came to visit a good time was had by all,  and everyone left with a smile.  Nannie will be missed by all who knew her.

She was loved and she loved big!!  She will be deeply missed!  I love you Aunt Nannie!
