Ofelia Ornelas

She was born on April 5,1926 to Juan and Maria Carranza.

She was preceded in death by husband Inez Perez Ornelas, by a daughter, Norma Saavedra, a son, Alfred "Woody" Saavedra, her Brothers John and Robert Carranza, her sisters Eva Rodriguez, Lillian Carrillo, Maria Nuanez and by her step-daughters Rita Louise Morningstar and Linda Marguerita Brooks

She is survived by her children, Jeannie Trujillo, Sylvia Rubio and Ralph Ornelas. Brother Richard "Dickie" Carranza. Sisters Hilda Bocanegra and Lucy Flores and her step daughters Lilian Ornelas, Betty Ornelas, Peggy Batad.

She will always be remembered as "Nana", a remarkable woman whose legacy spans generations. A cherished mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother.

She left a unique mark of love and wisdom on all who knew her. Her kindness, resilience and silly sense of humor will be fondly remembered by all of the hearts she touched. Nana will be dearly missed and forever remembered for her devotion to Christ and her family.
