

Paula was born on December 30, 1934 in San Bernardino, where she was a lifetime resident.
She graduated from San Bernardino High School in 1953. She started working for the State of California on December 20, 1955 with the Department of Transportation. She then went to work for the State Compensation Insurance Fund on April 12, 1965, and retired on December 28, 2002 with a total of 45 and a half years of State service.
She was a devout Catholic; faith was a cornerstone of her life. She loved camping at Carpinteria State Beach with her family. She enjoyed travelling, especially her trips to Laughlin and Texas to spend time with her family and friends. As Paula got up in age she grew very attached to her daughter, Tisha, with whom she travelled often.
Paula is survived by her daughter, Leticia (Tisha) Livermore; her sisters, Frances Gutierrez, Gloria Preader, and Petra Gutierrez; and a host of family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her son, Anthony James Livermore; her parents, Esequiel and Clara Gutierrez; her brothers, Lupe, Miguel, Gregory and Hesiquio Gutierrez; and sisters, Mercedes Resendez, Herminia Aldape, Carolina Gonzales, and Julia Mercado.
She will be greatly missed by all of her many family and friends. She was loved dearly and will be cherished in memory forever.
