

Ralph Kenneth Jackson, 74, of Victorville, California, was called home to be with his heavenly Father on October 6, 2017 and he reunited with his lovely wife, Della Jean Jackson. Ralph passed away in the comfort of his own home, surrounded by his loving family; Lisa Jackson-Smith, along with her husband James Smith and grandchildren Amber Jackson, Chad Jackson, Devon Jackson, Chelsea Brownlie, Jacob Jackson, Makayla MacDowell, and great granddaughter Zaylee Jean Renee Jackson and many close friends and church family.
Ralph was born on June 26, 1943 in Washington DC to Marie Emma Jackson and Warren S. Jackson. They resided in the local area of Washington DC throughout his childhood.
In 1962, Ralph joined The United States Army to serve his country. Ralph served two tours in the Vietnam War. He is a 2x Purple Heart recipient. While serving his country, Ralph also trained K-9 dogs.
Ralph as we all know battled many health issues for many years. His battle began in 2002 when he has a massive heart attack and stroke at the same time. This changed Ralph's entire life as he knew it. His health from then on has always been very delicate and fragile and through the years he has conquered many other issues regarding his health. The doctors were amazed with Ralph, they referred to Ralph the example of a true walking miracle.
Ralph married Mary Underwood, they had one child together, Michael S. Jackson. Ralph later remarried Della Jean Jackson. Together, Ralph and Jean had three children; Shaund Jackson, Robert Jackson Campfield, and Lisa Jackson. In 1973, Ralph moved his family to California to raise their kids. Ralph and his family remained in California for the upbringing of their children.
Ralph worked in the Overhead Door Industry and continued with his line of work up until he could no longer work.
Throughout the years Ralph was blessed with a total of 12 grandchildren and one great granddaughter. He loved them all so very much. He was a proud Dad, Grandpa, and Great Grandpa.
In the eyes of his family and friends he was known to be bad to the bone. The coolest Dad and Grandpa, and a hero to all that knew him, and an all around super cool Uncle.
Ralph is survived by his brother, two daughters, two sons, 12 grandkids, and 1 great granddaughter, along with several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother, father, wide and sister, along with many friends.
