Remembering Richie and Laurie.  I had been friends with these two for a lot of years, they came as a pair.  I had some of the best times of my life with the Rey family.  Richie had that quiet, reserved sense of humor, which made his comments even funnier.  Don't let anyone try to get away with anything because Richie and Laurie were on it.  
One of my favorite things about Richie was his way with Laurie.  I remember many times he would take over whatever needed to be done at home, so Laurie and I could spend some time out, you don't see that very often.  I miss those two, they were so generous when people were in need, no judgements, just dealing with life and helping out when they could.  I think about you two all the time.  Thank you for the years full of laughter and friendship, thank you for making me feel like part of your family.  Everyday, you are loved and you are missed.

Playing baseball and kick ball with my brother Richie he was very Special to me I miss him so much bro continue to RIP in Gods Beautiful Golden Gates of Heaven we love and miss you so much your sis Emily Rey and Mom  Jovita and your niece Eileen 

My heart goes out to all of the Rey family .  I know it is hard losing our loved ones especially our parents but know he is with his one true love again . As soon as I found out he was sick I rushed to be there , I just am sorry I wasn’t there sooner . I should have checked in more often but I know sometimes having people around remind us that Susie is no longer here , so I stayed back but always thought of the family and my one wish was that your dad would be there for Jenna as she got her diploma in May .  

Just know he is no longer in pain.

I am very fortunate to have many wonderful memories of the time I spent with the Rey family.  I am blessed to call Laurie my best friend and as she walked hand in hand through life with Richie, the fortune continued as I got to know him and call him a friend as well .  I shared their laughter and tears & their ups and downs.  I will always remember the good times as some of the best of my life.  Now my comfort exists knowing he is with his great love, his Laurie and together they are with their beautiful daughter.  My wish for his children is that the life he provided them, the life full of warmth, comfort, tradition, and the love of family are the timeless memories that give them strength, fill their hearts and make them smile.  

Ritchie,its so hard to believe that your gone.  This is something that I have always held dear to my heart. I'm sure not many of you know this .  But I'll never forget that Thanksgiving I had to work,I was working at Circle K on 30th and Est. You brought me food so that I wouldn't miss out on Thanksgiving dinner.   I remember you standing there with two plates of food because everything didn't fit on one plate.... I was so surprised that you did that for me. That was one of the nicest things anyone had ever done for me. Thank you, to both you and Lori for always making me feel welcomed in your home.   You will never be forgotten. You were my Big brother!!! Heaven has you now until we meet again..💔💔💔

Dad, As I sit here thinking of what to write my eyes fill with tears because I can’t get past the fact that your gone. I go through my days still thinking you’re going to call me and say “Mija what are you doing”; your voice was so strong and a little intimidating  I would quickly respond nothing dad you?  You would Say nothing just kicking back. Gosh I miss your voice.  I see you everywhere I go. Complete strangers look like you, places and things remind me of you. Sometimes I feel like I’m going crazy. I guess that’s just the magnitude of how much I miss you. The only part of this I take comfort in is knowing that you are no longer suffering and that you have been reunited with your one true love Mom. After she passed away you always said I’ll never be with another woman,  No one could compare to your mom.  I’m also glad you are with Susie too.  I am jealous of the angels because they have you now. Well I am blessed to have had you for as long as I did. You were the best dad. My friends would always tell me I was lucky. You were definitely one of a kind.  I’m going to miss you for the rest of my life. Please watch over-us  dad.  I love you with all of my heart. 

Dad oh how I miss you. I wish I could see your colored eyes that changed with the color of clothes you would wear.how I miss hearing you say Mija . I got to spend everyday with you in the hospital till the very last day  when you went to join mom and Susie where I know your happy and whole again. I wish we had many more years with you however gods plans were different. I thank God for giving me a honorable sweet big hearted loving dad. A dad that would and always did for his family who took care of my mom till her last breath. Dad keep dancing with our angels and keep watching over us . Thank you and you'll be in my heart always love you.❤️😘

 Its been many years but the love for family never fades. I will remember you always with a smile. RIP cousin 

Richie is  my brother I love him with all my HEART he one brother everyone would want  I'm going to miss you so much Richie which I already do my HEART is so broken mom's heart is so broken to.we love and miss you dearly 😥
