Ruth Mae Henry

Ruth Mae Henry, 92, of San Bernardino, passed away on February 10th, 2016. She was born in Ironton, Ohio on November 30, 1923. She was married to Francis Oliver Henry on January 1, 1946. Ruth was an art teacher for 40 years at Ruth Henry’s art studios.

Ruth was a professional milliner, making special order fur hats for Harris Co. She was a past President of San Bernardino Women’s Club, past President of San Bernardino Chapter of PEO, member of the California China Painting Art Association and past President of the California Association of Porcelain Artists where she was a featured artist. She also taught art through adult education.

She is survived by daughter, Karen DiCarlo, son in law, Don DiCarlo, grandchildren Dr. Marc DiCarlo, Amy Halloway-DiCarlo, Lisa Michelle Duran, Lenny Duran, and Niza DiCarlo. She is also survived by brother, Norman Rist and great grandchildren Colby, Austin, Hunter and Lexie Duran, Nicholas, Garrett, Taylor, and Trevor Halloway, and Sofia and Marc Jr. DiCarlo.
