and Allie (Brown) Lee.

Viola grew up with her family in southeastern Oklahoma. In 1953, she graduated from Pine
Springs High School in Oklahoma. Viola married Henry Burrows when she was 19 and they
moved to California. They would spend the winters near Desert Hot Springs and the summers
in Twin Peaks. Each year they would travel back to Oklahoma to their home near Center Point
to visit family and friends. Viola was an intelligent and kind woman. Although she never had any
of her own, she loved her nieces and nephews. She loved living in the mountains of San
Bernardino where she enjoyed feeding raccoons on her porch. She truly loved to thrift shop
looking for treasures. Viola also enjoyed crocheting and gave many beautiful pieces as gifts.
