Alice Lisi

Alice Lisi of San Diego, California passed away peacefully on April 27, 2025 at the age of 102. She was born on March 16,1923, in Pietranico, Italy in the province of Pescara in the region of Abruzzo. Alice immigrated to the United States with her family in 1935, when she was 12 years old and they settled in Bridgeport, Connecticut. In addition to San Diego, Alice also lived in Woodland Hills, Desert Hot Springs, Rancho Bernardo and Poway, California.

Alice was married for nearly 67 years to her husband Alfred Lisi Sr, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her parents Giuseppe DeLuca and Filomena DeLuca (D'Orazio).

She is survived by her sons Alfred Lisi Jr (spouse Cheryl Lisi), Joseph Lisi and Kenneth Lisi (spouse Laura Lisi), and grandchildren Cara, Mark, Luke, Kellie and Jessa. Additionally, Alice was Great Grandmother to 10 Great Grandchildren.

Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma Alice was the life of the party and the hostess who welcomed family and friends (old and new) with hugs, friendship and homemade food (usually Italian).

The family takes great comfort in knowing that Alice is at peace and free from the pain and suffering she dealt with the past few years.

The family would like to thank Cloisters of the Valley and Los Robles Hospice for the compassion and care they showed for our Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma Alice in her final days.
