My dear friend Arlino, I was saddened when I heard what happened to my buddy/roommate from Vista. I am TRULY sorry not just for the way we left things between you and I but also for not treating you right at times. You didn't deserve that. And I pray and hope that your family can please forgive me and maybe understand me more and see where I'm coming from. Ok bubba, RIP!

It feels like yesterday when Megan introduced us at the Sprinter station and when we later ran into each other in Oceanside our friendship was meant to be. I really wish you were here with me. I miss your laugh and your smile and your voice and going to San Diego with you on the Rapid listening to music and talking and watching movies. You are always going to be here with me. You have been here for me when I needed a friend the most and were with me at a dark place in my life. You gave me self esteem back and are my best friend and will always be in my heart and in my head. I can always be myself around you and you are the most caring loving kind man I've been blessed with to have only life. We are like Bill and Ted, Jay and Silent Bob lololol. My Dad's Navy shipmates aka "The signing machine group" brought me and my family many memories and joyful occasions.  With all of us cousins all in different age ranges Arlino was the big brother of our group, he was unique and unafraid to be himself or give us a different look at life.  Always kind and friendly someone who lived life to the beat of his own drum, for that I will always admire, be at peace big bro and watch over us like you always have.

Arlino,  There was so many fond memories to look back on...Bremerton and San Diego. You were a shy young kid when we met you and have become extended families.  Rest In Peace and give Dan Jr. a hug for me.  We will miss you!

It ws back in 1988 .  I met Arlino at my Uncle Abes and his Navy officer freinds xmas party. SanDiego. We immediately hit it off. We liked and share the same music. See each other every family getogether and borrow swap CDs, New Order Depeche Mode The Smiths The Cure.  Those are the music we were into.  After that long vacation I lost contact w/Arlno when i went back to the philippines.  Rest in peace my friend. You gave me wonderful memories in San Diego during our teenage years.

I spent my childhood chasing him around from when we lived in Mira Mesa to Bremerton, Washington.  We were giant nerds back then!  He taught me how to play Dungeons and Dragons, taught me how to collect and increase my Star Wars and GI Joe collection and would even sneak me beers when our dad’s weren’t looking!  I had a lot of great memories with Arlino.  Rest In Peace

Fun loving, easy going and full of life. You will greatly be missed by our group. Rest In Peace ✌️ Arlino..
