Jenny, Oliver, Olivia. I just wanted to take a moment this morning to offer you a prayer of comfort.  I was a friend of you husband and father from grade school through high school and kept in touch from time to time after that. When he spoke of you three which was every time i spoke with him i could sense the joy and love he had for each of you.  Today especially I pray that the God of all comfort would hold you in the wings of His great love and that you would be comforted in the depths of your soul by His love.  I miss my friend as do so many but it will never come close to the sorrow you all must be feeling today.   I pray that you will all feel Gods presence in a very real and tangible way today and that In some way that His love could be a salve to that pain.     in His love , Mike Glogovsky

I have known Dale since about 1975. I knew him through my cousin Jeff Bailey.  I spent the night at Jeff's quite often as a child and went over to Dales house to hang out sometimes. As I grew older Dale and I became good friends and were roommates around 1984- 1985. Dales mom and dad owned a time share in lake Tahoe. We drove up there in my Toyota truck, raised with big tires. The stereo in my truck got stolen before we went so Dale said, hey lets just take my boom box for music. At that time we pretty much listened to Rush. We had a great time in Tahoe. I have faint memories if his dad there but I remember him some. In 1986 I bought a boat. Dale And Jeff were the two people that went with me. We went to mission bay early in the morning  quite often so we could ski the glassy water. I have some nice pictures of Dale ripping up some good rooster tails. I started having kids only a couple of years before Dale and Jenny but  wr went over to their house at around 1997 ish and had dinner. As we all had our families we became a little more distant even though we lived about 2 miles away from each other. I loved Dale like a brother, I will miss him. Tears flow every time I think of him. Dale, please rest in peace. I love you my good friend.🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤

I am truly sad to hear of Dale’s passing. I am another high school friend who has wonderful memories of Dale’s mischievous and warm personality. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I was so saddened to hear of Dale's passing.  His friendship over the years meant a lot. He was an amazing man and a true friend.  I have such happy memories from jr. High and high school with Dale and our 
 close circle of friends. He was always the life of the party.  I will miss being able to catch up on our visits to SanDiego. Kathleen and I will be praying for you and your family in the days and weeks ahead. We pray that you will sense Gods loving comfort and love through this time.   

Jenni, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.  I am so saddened to hear about the passing of Dale.  While it’s been many years since our paths have crossed, I have fond memories of Dale when he lived with Mark on Gramercy.

Jenni- and family- I cannot express how much my heart hurts for you!  I remember when you had just started dating and your wedding!  What a wonderful man you chose to be in your life!   I’m sending all the love and prayers I can from FL!

Our deepest condolences on the loss of your husband, your dad.  Your family has always been more than a neighbor to us.  I know we haven't had the chance to spend a lot of time together in recent years but you have always been in our hearts. 

One story I did want to share with you.  When the devastating fires were happening in 2007, Mona and the kids had evacuated to LA.  I stayed home with a couple friends who had evacuated their houses in 4S.   The one thing that I knew was that Dale was out there leading a team...putting their lives at risk to keep us safe.  That thought gave me comfort even though I'm sure you were worried out of your minds.   I know I wasn't the only one that felt this way.  Dale made us laugh.  We know he loved his family, his friends, his neighbors, and his community.  Leo, Olivia...your dad is a hero and he always will be.  His legacy will live on in the firefighters he mentored who will carry on his legacy and his memory will live on in the lives and families he touched. To the Mosby family. Dale holds a very special place in the hearts of many of us from Libertyville, IL. He was such an exceptional gentleman who was adored by so many of us. Jen, Olivia and Leo and the rest of your family and firefighters. My deepest condolences to you. Known your family since our boys were in 1st grade. Such great times. BBQs, new years Eve, fundraisers, turkey kickball. Dale always was a joker. I never knew what was true and I always fell for it.

Dale will definitely be missed by all.

I am sorry beyond words for the incredible grief that you are all going through and will remember you in my prayers for as long as my memory serves me. Dale always greeted me with a welcome smile and friendly face at drills, department functions and station visits.  His fun-loving demeanor will continue to bring a smile or chuckle to us all as often as we remember stories about him.  May God imbed His peace that is beyond understanding and give you the comfort you need.

Dale had the best smile! Made me feel comfortable the first time  I met him. Rest In Peace Dale.  You will be missed!
