Our deepest condolences on the passing of your beloved Daniel. We did not have the opportunity of meeting him but reading the messages from others who knew Daniel, he surely was an amazing person. It is always painful at the loss of a dear one but we believe that God has His plans for each one of us and that one day we will be united with one another in our resurrected bodies. Hello Michael.  I got the shocking news from Goretti about Danny's passing.  Words cannot express how incredibly sorry I am for your great loss. Danny and our youngest daughter Bridget are almost the same age.  Her birthdate is April 11, 1982.  We never expect to bury our children and the grief you are experiencing must be heart-wrenching.  Just know that you will be remembered in our prayers.

Believe it or not, every January 29, I thought of you, my little brother and birthday twin (3 days, still counts). I didn't always wish you a happy birthday on the day. Adult life gets so busy, shamefully so sometimes. I am full of regret now that I let years pass without offering that simple gesture or taking the opportunity to let you know how much I adored you. You weren't "like" a little brother or the "little brother I never had." In my head and my heart, you were my family.

I'll miss your hugs. I'll miss you screaming in my ear and that perpetual smirk on your face. Mostly, I'll miss laughing with you (at me...) because poking fun at my expense was your favorite past time. It's a good thing you were funny! You were never going to let me or anyone take themselves or anything too seriously. That was your gift. I'm grateful you were in my life.

I would like to express my deepest condolences to Danny's family and those who loved him. Danny was truly one-of-a-kind, with a sense of humor and wit that few could match. He had a knack for practical jokes and was always on the lookout for the perfect opportunity to bring a smile to someone's face. One of his favorite pastimes was sneaking into my office when I wasn't there to rearrange things or even remove items like my office chair or keyboard. I always knew Danny was nearby when things were amiss, and he would graciously help put everything back in order.

One of my fondest memories of Danny is from a time when I wished one of his colleagues a happy birthday right in front of him, completely unaware that it was also his birthday. Another co-worker soon approached and wished Danny a happy birthday in front of me. I was so embarrassed and apologized profusely, but Danny saw his opportunity for a good-natured prank. From that day forward, every year, Danny would go out of his way to create elaborate birthday recognitions for me, just to remind me of the one time I forgot his birthday. Needless to say, I never forgot his birthday again.

Danny was a pure light in this world, and I pray that the memories of him bring you joy as you navigate this difficult time. His life ended far too soon, but his spirit and the joy he brought to those around him will never be forgotten.

Last time I saw Danny was at Eileen's service and he was so loving and grateful to see everyone gather to honor his Mom. This loss is such a shame as Danny was so young. He will be missed by everyone especially his family.
