David was raised in San Diego, where he grew up in a warm and lively home surrounded by many siblings. He was a devoted husband of 31 years to his best friend and soulmate, Jina. David proudly served his country in the United States Army during the 1980s, where he spent time stationed in Germany—an experience he valued greatly.
In 2019, David and his family relocated from California to Virginia, drawn by the peaceful beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains and a desire for a slower, more relaxed way of life. He found joy in trout fishing, watching war documentaries, and classic Western films—especially those starring John Wayne. David also had a passion for building model cars and remained a loyal fan of the Los Angeles Chargers and the San Diego Padres throughout his life.
Known for his sense of humor, David loved making his family laugh—often surprising his wife and children with playful scares just to see their reactions. Above all, he was a dedicated family man who cherished every moment spent with those he loved.
David is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Jina Marie Larios; his daughter, Devon Larios; his son, Adam Larios and his wife Najelie; his sisters, Martha Larios and Sylvia Peralta; his brothers, Carlos Larios, Victor Larios, Hector Larios, and Luis Larios; his grandchildren, Roman Larios and Riley Larios-Webster; as well as many cherished nieces and nephews.
