Dennis was born in San Diego in November 2, 1945 to Harold (Woody) Woodard and Hazel Fenner Woodard. He was proud to be a Native San Diegan. He was a member of the class of '64 Crawford Colts "The Party Class".
He attended Mesa College and enlisted in the Marine Corps Reserve. Once a Marine always a Marine! During his 40 year career in the meat industry, Dennis's favorite use of time was traveling with his wife, Jane of 48 years. He enjoyed many places, especially with a beach, Cabo San Lucas, Hawaii, Tahiti, and Jamaica. If fishing was involved, he was in heaven! Probably, their favorite trip was Africa, an Ultimate Adventure!
Dennis had a quiet yet confident energy, not afraid to shake things up! He had a great love for all critters.
Dennis, is survived by his adventurous wife, Jane Ellen Murawsky Woodard; his much loved son, Justin; his favorite daughter-n-law, Sherry; and his amazing grandsons, Cade and Rees.
Also, his brother-in-law Ed Murawsky (Mary Dameron) and nephew, Garrett Murawsky (Colleen) and many wonderful friends and neighbors.
