I worked with Domenico for few months this year. He came from Montreal as I did. He showed pride and commitment for his talents as engineer and showed his care and love for his family. I truly wish i could be there with you all today. It has been hard writing these lines, because I couldn't find the exact words to describe the sudden loss of a friend and a brother that i met  32 years ago.  I have yet to meet a man that had the passion, drive, courage, love and faith Domenico had for life and family. He inspired me in so many ways.
He was a humble and quiet man and the things he valued the most in life was his entire family, friends, and God. Always positive and always told me to have faith in God's plan. He would thank God every day for Blessing him with a loving wife and 2 amazing children. He was so proud of how is daughter Eva was focused, a winner in everything she did. How his son had the energy of 5 boys. His children made him smile after a hard day and made him forget the hard aches of this world. 

Sometime i wonder how great people leave this earth sooner than they should .As Dominico always told me , "Mark don't question God plan ,its bigger than you could ever imagine.  Just have faith in him"   Domenico was a man of great faith and will surely be watching over his loving wife and 2 amazing children from the kingdom of heaven. His words and legacy will never be forgotten

I was deeply saddened by the news of my dear friend, Domenico. My heart aches for Dom and Claudia’s family during this unexpected loss of a kind and thoughtful soul. I was fortunate to work with Dom in San Diego.  Dom took me under his wing and taught the importance of integrity and loyalty. He lived by his values proudly and I always admired him for that. It was clear to me from the beginning that Dom was a special individual who was confident in his craft and defended his work immensely. I thought this was someone that I should emulate, as difficult as that sounds. I looked up to Dom like a brother and we grew close over the few years. It was his guidance and teachings that I will always be grateful for when remembering Dom.

 We worked together in Montreal and immediately I recognized that he was someone that had a lot of passion for quality work. I remember how he saw the significance and value of signing his name on a drawing. He made sure that if his name is on any work, that it needed to be perfect in his eyes.  No matter what it took, he wasn’t going to let schedule push him into inferior work.  An engineer with integrity. Since I lived in San Diego many years ago, we often had conversations through out the years to compare notes. I know he truly loved being there and I’m deeply saddened by this news. My family has  been a part of Domenico's family all our lives. His grandfather married my mom dad in their little village in Italy. We have been associated with them for decades, and grew especially close to them as we lived in Montreal for several years. We have followed Domenico and his wonderful wife Claudia as they transitioned from Seattle, to Charleston, and finally to San Diego, where we spent a week with them the summer of 2021. He encouraged me to become a realtor, and I have.  We were able to encourage each other in family matters and matters of our faith. He will truly be missed. We are continuing in prayer for dear Claudia, Eva, and Gianfranco, and others we love so much. God will see them through and we will be reunited with the Lord in eternity. That is our hope in the Lord. 

Dear Domenico. I had the chance to work with you in Montreal. It was a pleasure to meet you both professionally and personally even for less than a year. I will pray for you and for your family to get the strength to move forward and succeed. I am sure you will guide them well from where you are. God bless you all and I will remember your smile and motivation.

Just like many people here, I too met Domenic at a very young age as we lived a few minutes from each other and went to school together. I have fond memories of my childhood as we really had a tight-knit community and Domenic was front and center in the neighberhood.

Despite the fact that I lost touch with Domenic since he had moved to California, I still hold such great memories of my time with him: hockey games on the street from early morning to late at night with no lunch, buying a Golf GTI because I wanted one just like his, etc. He truly was a great person.

He absolutely left this world much too soon.

Words cannot describe the feeling I have right now. It doesn't seem real; having a difficult time believing this is true. I grew up with Domenic, met him when I was 8 years old, living on the same street just a few houses away.  Friendship was instant. The group of friends that were established by several neighborhood kids including his brother Bruno was something special.  Those memories will never be forgotten and in my heart forever.  

There was never a dull moment with Domenic. His energy and sense of humor was contagious. Domenic was intelligent, and dedicated and excelled at whatever challenge he took on.

Dear Claudia, kids and Falduto Family, my sincere apologies.
 The news came as a shock to all of us and still very difficult to believe. Domenic will be missed.
In this time of grief, I try to remember the good times. I count myself lucky to have known Dom all my life. From growing up a few houses away, the neighborhood kids then can look back and say we truly had a fun group to be with, and Dom to thank for organizing all the street hockey games.
His passion led him to succeed in everything he took on; playing hockey, learning guitar, fixing cars and of course engineering career.
It was special attending Concordia University together and being in the engineering program. We helped each other out and made it through though periods. I am thankful to also had him as a colleague. He was one of the very few people I could share difficulties with and really relate to.

Growing up Dom was like an older brother I use to love sleeping over at his house and him taking me for rides in his volks corrado I still remember the day him and Bruno came to my house in lasalle and we went to play hockey at the rink all day we had great times….Dom even though we didn’t see each other that much later on in life I’m great full to have such a successful cousin to look up to you were an amazing father to you 2 children and to your wife….you may be gone but you will never be forgotten rip brother till we meet again love you

I have very fond memories of growing up with Domenic when we were kids. He was kind, generous, dynamic, smart, talented, and one of the most driven and motivated human beings I had ever met. Just being around  Dom made you a better person. He truly was a very special, one-of-a-kind person, who turned whatever he touched into gold. 

He left us and this world much too soon, and so unexpectedly, and he will be truly be missed.

Dom, may God continue to forever look after you and your family.
