Eloisa Munoz Martinez was born January 25, 1927 in Colorado as the third to the youngest out of seven children. Her family later moved to Tijuana, Mexico and there she met her childhood sweetheart Alfonso Martinez and married. They eventually moved to Imperial Beach, California. Together they had seven children: Adela, Alfonso Jr., Alfredo, Alicia, George Alberto, Armando and Alejandro; 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Eloisa held numerous jobs, but the most respected title she earned was matriarch, role model and friends for all.
