I had the privilege to meet Ignacio Ochoa through my sons grandmother and lovely Rosie. He was so kind to accept me to walk in his room along with his daughter Martha, even though he was just relaxing in his quite room, he opened up his space to welcome me in. I will never forget that night when he opened his heart in a sweet prayer with me & papasito. Dispite how exhausted he was to speak he fought to the end to push himself to speak and respond to the prayer. He was a man with a whole heart filled with humbleness. This is why, to me it was a privilege to meet  him because he had a sweet welcoming spirit that made you feel how trust worthy of a person he was. It’s unfortunate that I didn’t meet him years before when papas was learning how to walk, but I’m so happy my son got to receive his LOVE & Hugs. I will always carry your picture up on the walls of our house to remind myself that once there was a kind and sweet soul here on earth... and that my son has someone to look back on and carry on that kindness that has been shared unto him from Mr. Ignacio Ochoa. 

I will never forget you my dear grandpy, and I will never be the same, with my heart shattered. I had the best grandpa and dad a girl could ever ask for. You were also my only best friend in the whole wide world.  I wanted to give you the world just like you gave me a good life. I learned from you to be grateful,  respect others, have a giving and caring heart. But also to stand up for myself.  We have the most precious memories,  and everytime I took you out, we had too much fun. All I have are pictures of our adventures,  and of when you surprised me in Julian.  I remember it all like it was yesterday, and I thank you for that. People always complimented us of how they couldn't help but notice the special love of a daughter and father. You would feel so flattered,  but did inform them you were my grandpy but considered me your daughter, and your favorite at that. You had no worry letting the world know.  And you were always grateful how I made sure to listen to you, for the times I took you out, the gifts and antiques I gave you. In my eyes you deserved all of it and more. It's sad seeing the room I had ready for you, and the best of everything at my house.  Your advice got me here, and you believing in me.  Everything reminds me of you, theres even habits and things you taught me that I catch myself doing and I smile or cry.  You were the hardest worker I ever knew, a true gentleman.  So charming. You had a bright smile. The best sense of humor and personality.  You literally always made me laugh, you even had original and creative jokes. They will last a lifetime. Everyone that was lucky to have met you just adored you and enjoyed being around you. I have people thanking me for introducing you to them, it was a honor to them. People would have to be crazy not to like you! Thank you grandpy for everything,  for spoiling me, for never losing hope in me. I'm alive because of you. The Ochoa legacy will continue, your stories and love will live on. We will meet again
