When I was recording my first full length CD, I asked Jabari would he be a featured artist on my release.   Not only did he agree to do it.  He also hung out at the studio with  a group called Southeast 1, Eddie Moodie, and myself.  When he started rapping everyone stopped what they were doing and was like, who is that?  Myself included I never heard him rap and definitely never heard such skill and uniqueness as what I heard that day.  My brother a socialite that was comfortable being alone,  I love you bro RIP

My dearest son, Jabari, 
You were the perfect baby, never crying, complaining, or getting into trouble.  When you were told to do something, you did it.  This is the reason you never got a spanking!  As a child you were always interested in doing the right thing.  It was as if you were so much more advanced then getting wrapped up in petty things.  No matter what I cooked, you always said, "that was good mom!"  when your dad and brother would complain about eating.  You always gave me compliments, paying attention to the feelings of others no matter what age.  As a man, you had integrity, strength, intelligence, courage and humility that could only come from God.  You treated me like a Queen, making sure I had everything I needed and helping me with things I was trying to do.  Honor your father and your mother, God's 5th commandment, is what you did throughout your life.  I'm so blessed to have you as my son!  We will be together again throughout eternity!  Rest in Shalom, with our Lord and Savior.  I love you so much!  Mom

Looking back on life...  My Uncle Jabari my God-father fr...  That man ain't ever did me wrong my whole life and held me down with no hesitations and questions asked...  We'd be in the garage having discussions for hours like I was an adult or something... Had me up in rank cause he invoked the challenge of thought and understanding, not on some "you're 10 years old, you don't understand shit"...  but being a man of perspective, but willing to try to understand an opinion or willing to research a different perspective, playing devils advocate, or correcting a preconceived notion... Takes a great man to put his pride to the side for the betterment of thy self or others... A blessing to have in my corner.  100%  100%

Eulogy for Jabari

I want everyone to know how special you are – always had a beautiful smile on your face that 
could light up any room. 
You always showed fairness to everyone -- I remember who you were in the face of conflict and 
disagreement. I remember when we would talk about things that I was upset about, you would 
listen and give a smile and say a positive word that would put me back into a better space. 
My beautiful brother, you were the glue to many broken pieces and when you were finished, 
made a perfect picture. One of the other remarkable gifts you had was listening no matter what 
you were going through, you would always stop, smile, joke a little but listen. 
I remember the first time I met you, you were so welcoming in sharing your room and toys. We 
bonded over wrestling and break dancing. You embraced me and we grew closer, watching tv till 
we fell asleep; late night kitchen creeps. So many ghost stories. Your other friends coming by for 
sleep overs….and they loved you, just as I did. We found “mystery places” to go for walks, 
peeking over fences to check out the latest beautifully built homes nearby, candy breaks during 
our hourly walks, until the sun went down. Hurrying home to get ready for bed, and then 
continuing our conversations until we fell asleep. 
You had a strength that can’t be replaced. I know this. You have a smile that will forever shine its 
light to the furthest reaches of the universe. Every Lamborghini that I see I will think of you 
saying, “that’s my car.” From the game we used to play as young children. Because that is you, 
beautiful, and when the doors open high and wide -- that’s your smile, spreading that love and 
light.
