Jeannette Carrillo

Hospital Corpsman Third Class (HM3), Jeannette Carrillo, age 45, of San Diego, CA, died in Coronado, CA on December 20th, 2025.

She was born at Mercy Hospital in 1980 to Guadalupe H. and Gloriela Carrillo.

Jeannette was preceded in death by her father Guadalupe H. Carrillo, and is survived by her Mother Gloriela Carrillo, her brother and two sisters, Walter, Melissa & Brenda Carrillo, Nieces and Nephews loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Friends, and loyal fur-son Sir Didymus.

A proud veteran, Jeannette served 5 years in the Navy, attaining the rank of HM3. She proudly and valiantly served her country before, during, and after September 11, 2001. While serving Her country, She earned the following accolades: National Defense Service Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendations, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, and Good Conduct Medal. Jeannette was proud to have done her duty to help defend the freedom of citizens across this country.

Jeannette had a fulfilled life, she accomplished almost everything she wanted in life; as a child, she wanted to join baseball, she joined an all male baseball league. She wanted to join the Navy & despite several health limitations, she joined the Navy. She wanted her Jeep & she got her tracker. She wanted a papillion, she got Sir Diddy. Despite the countless adversities Jeannette faced, she faced them with grit, determination, resilience, and resolve like a true Warrior. Her selflessness, enginuity, creativity, thoughtfulness, laughter, and love will be greatly missed.

A visitation will be held at Cypress View Mausoleum, Mortuary and Crematory, located at 3953 Imperial Ave, San Diego, CA 92113, on December 30, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

The funeral service is scheduled for December 31, 2025, at 9:15 am at St. Rose of Lima Church, located at 293 H St, Chula Vista, CA 91910.

The committal service will take place on December 31, 2025, at 11:15 am at Miramar National Cemetery, located at 5795 Nobel Dr, San Diego, CA 92122.
