I would like e to send my condolences to the entire Silva family. I just recently found out about Joe's passing and was saddened to hear of this. My prayers and thoughts are with you all during these difficult days ahead.
I have lost a child and recently lost a Brother due to Cancer and I know the Sadness and Missing those we Love. Please Know you are all in My thoughts!.

To my brother in law Joe,
 I haven't known you for that long, but you are a true definition of a humble man. The laughter and great music you brought to the family will truly be missed. Rest in peace.

Though we may not of seen each other often when we did the laughter and party was on whether it was a BDay party, holiday, boxing match or camping. You have always made me & my girls feel part of the Silva family. I will always remember you with the deepest admiration and affection and I know whenever I sit at your Mom's dining table I will look fondly to my left and remember you seated there.

Joe, although I only knew you for 4 years, it was four years of great memories.  Every time I listen to my i-pod you downloaded for me I'll think of you. My Oldest and Best Friend, Joe.  We have traveled a blessed path together and created great memories along the way.  As far back as I can remember, we've been friends.  You were my teammate, you were my drinking partner, you were “the DJ”, and you were my dearest friend.  Monday morning I was dropped to my knees when I learned God had other plans for you.  My heart aches knowing I can't just call you anymore to visit and take a 12 pack of Dos Equis.  When God takes me, you will be the first person I'll want to see.  So keep a “12 pack” on ice, we will have a lot of catching up to do…………..  “I'm gonna Miss You, Rest In Peace My Dearest Friend.”
