On Thursday, May 23, 2024, a real Mensch- Joel Howard Dreifuss, also known as Yoseel and Chacham passed away. He is survived by his children, Amy Vaughn (Jacob Vaughn), Daniel Dreifuss (Jessica Cooper), Jeffrey Dreifuss (Scarlet Dreifuss), Janine Dreifuss (Brian Patrizio), his granddaughters Emerson Vaughn (7) and Camila Dreifuss (6 weeks) as well as his parents Werner and Norma Dreifuss, sister Marsi Frenkel (Chayim Frenkel) and brothers, Ted Dreifuss (Niki Dreifuss) and Robert Dreifuss.
Joel was a die hard Dodgers fan, corned beef lover, local North Park business owner, cheap poker player, the best Jewish Santa and lover of the term shmuck.
He ate everything and anything and told you afterwards that the food was real shit but that you should still eat it because it would put hair on your chest.
He harassed everyone he came in contact with but had the kindest heart and took care of so many people.
Joel will be missed by everyone and would want you to King Kuts.
