Silva, Joseph J. 08/12/1952 ~ 03/12/2015 SAN DIEGO -- Joseph J. Silva passed away from cancer shortly after being diagnosed. Joseph grew up in the Portuguese community in Point Loma where he lived all of his life. Joseph is survived by his father Joseph G. Silva and his sister Judy Ocheltree (Scott) several aunts and an uncle and several cousins. Joseph was predeceased by his mother Marianne. Joseph had worked for Sony and Sea World. He had several interests; photography, guns, volunteering at USS Midway and was the Official Photographer for the Lakeside Rodeo. Funeral service will be held at St. Agnes church on Monday, March 23rd, with the Rosary beginning at 9:30 a.m., with the Mass following at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers please make donation to the American Cancer Society .
