On Sunday, 5/17/2020, MaDonna Fales, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed at the age of 77. Born September 11th 1942 in Oklahoma, MaDonna is the daughter of Eleonora and Leo Jacqout. Madonna was born in Oklahoma City and was raised in San Diego, a city she always returned to as life took her elsewhere.
She attended St. Anthony School of Nursing in Oklahoma City, obtaining her nursing degree. MaDonna's calling was one of healing and compassion for those at their most vulnerable. Her path took her from emergency rooms to Intensive care units, always advocating for her patients at every turn.
As she cared for those who found themselves in the hospital, MaDonna was known to take in those who found themselves lost. She opened her home to those in need, without question, becoming a loving mother to any who found their way to her. There was never any question that her home was one where many could find safety and love.
MaDonna is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a flock of adopted family members who knew and loved her. She was a treasure to all who knew her, never giving up on those who struggled in the world and always encouraging them to see themselves as she saw them.
Madonna is a treasure, and she changed her corner of the world for the best. Those who had the pleasure of knowing her will find her impossible to forget.
She's found her way home, back into the arms of her loving mother, the hijinks of her brothers, to her sister and to her best friend.
Your body is tied to the dust and to the earth, your soul is set free from its tether. Let your breath return to the skies and wind, and your memories shine bright within the hearts and minds of your family. Your soul is unburdened at last. Go with love.
