Uncle Don, at a very young age, your journey here on earth ended but not the memories you left behind in our hearts, in our minds.

Remember, as neighbors in our beloved Sitio Santos, Tarlac City, we grew up together with our friends Mario or Toto and his sister, Lilia Gozun.  I envy you because you are all good dancers. 

You are not only an uncle to me but a friend who knew who my crushes were.

We parted ways when we pursued our college education in Manila.

Fortunately, we were reunited when we both got a job at the Philippine Normal University.

There you met your wife, the pretty Auntie Nini.  You were blessed with a handsome son, Edwin and Eileen, your beautiful daughter.

I do not remember the year when you left the Philippines for USA.  Ramon and I migrated to the USA years later.

We never had a chance to see each other here in America but I have been following you on Facebook.

Uncle, since you are now in God's care, please pray for us, your families and friends you left behind for we do not know what kind of future is in store for us.

Lord, I pray to you, keep my uncle Manolito, in your loving care.  Let Perpetual Light Shine Upon him & may he rest in peace.  Amen

We, the friends and colleagues of Don David from Philippine Normal University are disheartenend with the passing on of Don David, specially coming a few months after the demise of his wife Nini.

I remember fondly the times we spent going out together as drinking buddies seeking fun and adventures all over Metro Manila. You did it almost nightly that you earned the moniker Tito Rey.  (Tito Rey is a talent manager who has under his care a bevy of beautiful film stars) We were not only office mates, close friends but also I had honor of being the godfather of Edwin.

Now, that you are gone, but the times we shared together will never fade away. I am happy with the thought that you and Nini will again be together in the bosom of our Creator.

We will always remember your gentle kindness, your eagerness to share your musical talent, and most of all, your devotion to family. May your heart & soul be at rest as you rejoin Auntie Nini and our departed family. They are sure to greet you with open arms.

As you leave us to be with God, Auntie Nini and our family in Heaven, know that we will miss you.  You have blessed all of us with wonderful memories while you were with us. You’re a great uncle and always greeted us with a smile and hand shake. You’re with God now, resting, away from the pain and difficulties of life. And I’m sure you’re playing your guitar.  You’ll always live in our memories and our hearts. Maybe you can give me that guitar lesson when we see each other again.

Uncle Don,

You have shown us your true devotion to your wife, you were unseperable. in a way as horibble as it sounds, I'm glad your pain is over and can be with our other loved ones, specially tita nini. Please keep looking after her even in the after life and I hope you're up there with your guitar playing songs to keep everyone entertained. I will always remember the time you and tita nini took me to work with you so I can play basketball back at the university.  Thank you for the memories and wherever you all maybe in this moment in time I do hope it's a happy place.  Heaven has just gained another angel. 

Kuya Don as we fondly called him, was an amazing, kind hearted, loving and generous person I’ve known. He loved Ate Nini so much as well as his kids. I could say that he lived his life to the fullest and was lucky enough  to be taken cared of with his wife Ate Nini and his two children, Edwin and Tetet. I know he is now with our Lord  and with Ate Nini and the rest of the family. May he find peace and happiness. Thank you Kuya Don for everything. Surely we will miss you. Gone but will never be forgotten. We love you. From all of us, Uly,Joji, Nico and Tin, Keira and Reanna, Raymond and Codie, Lucas,Tayler and Heidi, and most especially your inaanak, Christian.

May my condolences bring you comfort and may my prayers ease the pain of this loss. No more pain tito don you are happy na magkasama na kayo ni tita nini...Rest in peace tito don we will truly miss you... Thank you sa inyo ni tita nini for everything you've done to us... We love you...
