Mildred Sabina Keating

Mildred Keating passed away June 4, 2018 at the age of 90. Mildred was born in Bismarck, North Dakota on August 27, 1927. After moving to Washington state, she graduated from St. Leo High School in Tacoma Washington in 1945 and then went on to attend cosmetology school. After graduating she married Donald Keating in 1946. During their 59 years of marriage they had 7 children; Dennis Keating, Donna Keating (Deceased), Donell Keating (Deceased), Nancy Edwords, Kent Keating, Colleen Davison (Deceased), and Paul Keating (Deceased). She has 12 grand-children and 19 great grand-children.

Mildred and Donald moved to San Diego in 1959. Mildred loved reading, traveling, and baking. She helped Don at his car dealership but was primarily a homemaker and stay at home wife.

In 2005 when Donald passed away, Mildred continued to be the constant glue that held her family together. Mildred led a life of happiness and is remembered through her love for her family, great cooking, her unintentional humor, and blunt demeanor.

Services will be held Saturday June 16th at 1pm at El Camino Memorial Cemetery, 5600 Carroll Canyon Road, San Diego, California, 92121.
