Patricia Louise Reid, age 79, of Carlsbad California, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2025 at her home in the presence of her loving family. Patricia was born on July 16, 1945 in Denver Colorado to Earl and Louise Williams. Patricia was a devoted wife to her husband of 45 years Steven, a loving mother to her children Jeffrey and Lauren, and an adoring grandmother to granddaughters Madelyn and Zoe. Patricia was a research scientist for 40 years before a retirement filled with world travel, continuing education classes, and her beloved word and number puzzles. A viewing will be held at El Camino Memorial in San Diego at 11:00 on April 27, followed by a service at 11:45. After the conclusion of the service, a celebration of her life will be held at her home in Carlsbad. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Association of University Women.
