

Raymond was born and raised in San Diego, California. Raymond passed away in Kentucky on Thursday, July 12, 2012. He is survived by his mother, Dora Camacho of San Diego, three sons, Raymond Abelardo Perez of Georgia, Thomas Patrick Perez of San Diego, and Raymond Arthur Perez of DeLeno, three daughters, Katrina Marie McLarnon of Georgia, Maria Luz Perez of Wilmington, and Martha Loura Perez of Norwalk, two sisters, Josephine Perez of San Diego and Maria Jimenez of San Diego, two brothers, Frank Perez of San Diego and Johnny Camacho of Indianapolis, Companion of 8 years, Joyce Smole, 4 Step Children, 21 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren, and many Nephews and Nieces.
Raymond was a self employed at a very young age in the masonry field. He was a construction worker and brick layer. Raymond built a brick shrine for Our Lady of Guadalupe outside the Church. He also worked as a farmer for Otay Ranch, and later for the Telephone Company in Chula Vista. Raymond went on to working for the University of San Diego in the Custodial field before leaving for Kentucky. In Kentucky he worked for Fort Knox building retaining walls and doing odd jobs in construction.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 19, 2012 from 4 p.m. till 8 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:30 p.m. at Goodbody Mortuary, 5027 El Cajon Blvd, San Diego, CA., 92115. Funeral Mass will be Friday, July 20, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 1770 Kearney Ave., San Diego, CA., 92113.
