Verlasky, Richard 10/19/1944 ~ 10/15/2014 SAN DIEGO -- Richard Verlasky of San Diego, beloved father, son and grandfather passed away October 15, 2014 peacefully at home at 69. He is survived by his wife, Bernadette, mother, Ruth, daughter, Aimee Yager (Ben), sons, Paul (April), Marc (Ashley), grandchildren, Emilee and Joseph Canepa. Richard was a trial attorney. He was Trial Attorney of the Year for San Diego in 1988. Richard was known for his service to the underprivileged, and was honored with a certificate on the Wall of Tolerance in the Civil Rights Memorial Center.
