Robert Sherman Archer. Bob was a father, husband and grandfather to Elisia, Kathy and Edward. He served in the navy, managed remote stations for early bird satellite warning system, retired as a Sr. Engineer from Hughes Aircraft, he help build a large sculpture the city installed at its pier, volunteered at an art studio, and served as a volunteer grandfather to foster children at San Pasqual Academy. He died unexpectedly on Thursday, August 12. His death was a surprise and shock to all who knew him. He will be sorely missed.
