Our love for Bob was instant becuase of his instant love for us, like Ruth and like Jesus.  His tender manner never hid his confident strength. His hugs were the best! Ruth and Bob (dear friends to my mom Merrily Allen) were quick to take Kevin and Ben and I as new  family after Merrily passed. Their warm inclusion and love for us is a treasure that we will have forever, becuase although Bob is not here with us now, we will be there with Bob forever. We love you Ruth!
