Ronald Lee Monigold

In loving memory of Ron Monigold, born October 18th, 1959. On June 18th, I lost my life partner who was a loving father as well as a dear friend to so many. Ron had so many talents that shone like beams of light to all who knew him. His warm smile, his caring voice, and his creativity were the hallmarks of his character. His creative talents were many: Being a great Realtor, his amazing flower arranging skills, landscape and interior design, and planning events, among many others. We will remember him for his sharply keen sense of humor and for the way he could bring people together. In Ron's last months he was able to proudly see his daughter Tayler graduate from Chico State, and to lovingly play with his newest nephew, little William (or "Monkey" as he called him). Ron's love will guide us through the pain we now suffer, and I know that he is smiling in peace and paving the way for those he loved so dearly. We always ended our evenings by saying "nigh nigh" to each other, so now I say a final "nigh nigh" to my knight. You were so loved, and still are. Sleep with the angels my friend. Ron is survived by his life partner Cliff, daughter Tayler, his mother Thelma, father Fred, sisters Kelly and Roxanne, niece Brooke, Brooke's husband Billy, great-nephew William, Grandmother Katherine, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends. There will be a private family memorial.
