Ronald Gibson Scott

Scott, Ronald Gibson 04/07/1935 ~ 05/15/2014 SAN DIEGO -- Ronald Scott, beloved husband of Jackie Scott for 51 years, grew up in Los Angeles, CA. He held a bachelor's degree from Principia College. Ron was a valued employee of the Auto Club of Southern California for 32 years, receiving many awards before his retirement. Ron filled various offices at Sixth Church of Christ, Scientist, San Diego, including First Reader, Executive Board Chairman, and Sunday School teacher. Ron loved all kinds of music, especially opera and jazz. He also enjoyed many sports, particularly basketball during the Wooden years at UCLA. Ron will be remembered by wife Jackie and brother Orvis; brother Ken (Pamela) sister Marilyn (Bill); and sister-in-law Carolyn Reis, with relatives and friends at a service on Saturday, May 31st, 2p.m. at Clairemont Mortuary, 4266 Mt. Abernathy Ave., San Diego. -
