William Allen Alverson Jr

William Allen Alverson, Jr. passed away unexpectedly at his San Diego, CA home on January 29. Will was a beloved son, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin and a great friend. Bill was highly energetic, loved life and adventure. He sought out new experiences and the opportunity to share good times and good meals with those he cared about. He enjoyed the beach, cooking, hiking, music, playing instruments, dancing, and vacations. He also had a special connection to dogs. Bill would spend hours researching a topic of interest and then pass that information on. Will had an amazing, loving and giving spirit which will be missed by all who knew him. He leaves us with many great memories.

Will earned a BA in Communications at San Francisco University and an MA in Project Management from Stevens Institute of Technology. He held Sr. Project Management positions at Illumina, Shire Pharmaceuticals and AT&T Labs.

Bill is predeceased by his sister Lyndsi Ann, step-sister Macula and his nephew Landon.

Bill lives on in his heartbroken parents, Karen and Mark Wheelan of Delmar, CA and William and Karen (Wirtz) Alverson of Newton, NJ, his step-sister Colleen, nieces Kendra and partner Lauren, and Skyler and nephew Matthew as well as many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
