

Daniel Adams Coronado was entered into life on March 21, 1920 in Pacoima, California. Daniel entered into eternal rest on June 25, 2014 at Providence Holy Cross Hospital in Mission Hills, California. Daniel attended Pacoima Grammar School and continued on to San Fernando Jr. High. After his father passed, Daniel left school after the 9th grade in order to help support his six other siblings as a truck driver. On June 8th, 1941 he married the love of his life, Della Guerra. They were happily married for 71 ½ years until the day the Lord called Della to his side on January 15, 2013. Daniel proudly served in the United States Army in World War II as a cannoneer (FA Field Artillery). He was awarded the European – African- Middle Eastern Campaign medal, the medal of Good Conduct, and was honorably discharged once he was done serving. After the war, he studied to become a contractor. On September 30th 1964 he earned his contractor’s license and founded Coronado Paving which was very successful. Daniel was the father of Diane (deceased), Danny (deceased), Christine and Timothy. Daniel was the grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Daniel was brother to Coronado Siblings: Molly, David, Elias, Irene and Tony. Ramirez Siblings: Mercy, Virginia, Tilly, Ruben, Aurora, Martha and Joel.

Funeral arrangements under the direction of Funeraria del Angel J.T. Oswald, San Fernando, CA. A viewing will take place on Tuesday July 8, 2014 at La Trinidad Christian Church in San Fernando from 7-9:00 pm. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday July 9, 2014 once again at La Trinidad Christian Church at 10:00 am. A burial will follow at the Forest Lawn Cemetery Hollywood Hills in Los Angeles, California where Daniel will be placed to rest. Daniel Adams Coronado will be missed by all his family and friends whom loved him very much.
