will be missed by so many people but not forgotten.He was a good husband to Tia Gloria ,good father good son   very good uncle,and a good brother.I know that he will always be close to all of us. I have so many wonderful, childhood memories of spending holidays at the Hernandez Household.  Tio Chalo will truly be missed!  Our heart and love goes out to the family!!!

There are so many memories of my Tio Chalo and the rest of the family that are so very dear to my heart. I remember my Tio Chalo and Tia Gloria being at almost every family function there ever was.  Birthdays, weddings, anniversary celebrations, holiday gatherings and of course family and friends funerals.  The best of them all were being at their home for many Christmas Eve celebrations. I have memories of being there as a small child and then having both of my children there when they were little. Tio Chalo would make the house look so beautiful with all his Christmas lights. It was a spectacular sight to see. His hospitality was always so warm and gracious and they both always made you feel at home.  My love goes out to Tia Gloria, Cousin Jr and Cousin Gloria. You are are always in my thoughts and prayers.

You were such a caring and loving man I will forever cherish all the great memories I have of you. Some of my most memorable times would definitely have to be spending summer vacations when I was younger,  Thanksgiving, and Christmas with you. I love and  miss you Tio.

I'am blessed and grateful that God provided me with such a wonderful husband and father of my children. 
I have beautiful memories of all the good times that we  had as a family. I miss you so much. We were married for almost 60 years. He is back with his maker. He can now  breath without oxygen and is no longer in pain.  
My sincere thank's too all of you that took the time to write in Chalo's guest book. You have brought me comfort,  peace and joy in reading what all of you have wrote.

We have such fond memories of Chalo that bring smiles to our faces and warmth to our hears when we think of him.  One very memorable day was at our daughter's wedding. During the "Anniversary Dance" Chalo and Gloria glided on the floor and proudly danced as many of the couples who had been married for fewer years left the dance floor. They were one of the last two couples who remained on the floor as they had been married the longest. Their love and commitment were a great example to the rest of us.  What we admired most is his "will to live".  He didn't let his need to have his oxygen tank stop or limit him.   He "chose" to live and enjoy life. That is an example of his unique character. We will miss him dearly and thank God, that he was part of our lives.

We are deeply saddened by Chalo's passing.  He was always a good man to our family.  We enjoyed the many visits and fun card games,  he will be missed.  Take care Gloria and the Terrazas family are here for you.

I had the pleasure once in meeting my tio Gonzalo n tia gloria.  Wish there were more but it wasn't in the cards. But even tho we didn't see each other I always need what was going on with my tio. Aunt Gloria, please know that I am so very sorry for the loss of my Uncle Chalo!  I am so glad that I got to meet you all and my second cousins, Chalito and Glorita, as everyone in the family calls them. I will always have my good memories of the time I got to spend with my uncle in California! He will be missed!

Tio Chalo, you are already missed so much.   I never had doubts of one person loving me, and that was you!You were always there for me and my family.  It was so hard for me to say good bye to you!   You will be missed very, very much. And remember I will always keep an eye out for my Tia Gloria!

    As I sit here writing this a ton of good memories come to mind, things that I will remember forever like summer vacations at your house when me and Jessica would stay swimming in the pool for hours, trips in the Camalot rv, the KOA campsites, making little commercials with the video camera, family get togethers, thanksgiving, Christmas when you would dress up as Santa, playing uno, playing skip bo, having yard sales, and my all time favorite playing Herbie, you and Tia tought me to play poker and you tought me to have a good poker face. I would always watch what you did and try to copy your moves. :) you were such a great and funny man I love and miss you so much. I will cherish all my memories of you. You are truly missed tio!!!!

My tio chalo what can I say that has not been said about him. He was a wonderful brother to my mom, a great father to his children and a loyal husband to his wife.
