Born in Orizaba Veracruz to parents Francisco and Maria Luisa Castillo, she is one of 7 siblings.
Magdalena Castillo grew up in Mexico and came to the United States in 1960 where she forever changed the destiny of her family. Although we lived in America, as the matriarch of the family, she always kept our heritage alive with her cooking, language and religious values.
Magdalena was a woman of integrity, honesty and incredible inner strength; she was a kind loving person. Magdalena leaves behind her daughter Maria Eugenia Acevedo, family and friends that will love and miss her forever.
