Bernice Marcaletti

After a long and fulfilled life, Bernice passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in her home. She was 94 years young, full of love and a passion for life. A native San Franciscan, she devoted her time to her family, cooking, tennis, bingo and knitting.

Bernice is predeceased by her husband, John Marcaletti, of forty-four years. Together they had two sons, Gary (wife Julia) and Larry (wife Janet). Bernice was a proud Nonni of her six grandchildren; Robert, Jeffrey, Thomas, Melissa, Kaitlyn and Dominic and five great-grandchildren; Mia, Blake, Evan, Gemma and Cara.

Bernice is predeceased by her siblings, Albert Bersaglieri, Alma Tarantino, Roy Bersaglieri, Marian Pieretti, Michael Bersaglieri, and Ramona Gammino. She is survived by a large extended family of: Alioto, Bersaglieri, Gammino, Hutzler, Johnson, Pieretti, Rago, Stasiak, Tarantino, Carole Marcaletti and close friends Jeanne and John Vitrano.

Friends and family are invited to a Visitation on Monday, February 22 from 5:30PM to 7:30PM with a Rosary, 6:30PM at Halsted N. Gray – Carew & English, 1123 Sutter St., SF. A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, February 23, 11AM at St. Stephen's Church, 601 Eucalyptus Dr., SF, followed by entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma.
