
Chun Ming "Mike" Say of San Francisco, Ca passed away on April 20, 2018 at the age of 83 years old. Mike was born to the late Say Bow Sing and Chang Ong Moi on June 2, 1934 in Waipahu, Hawaii. He was raised in Hawaii and attended Farrington High School in Honolulu. Mike is a veteran with the US Navy. He came to the Mainland after his discharge from the US Navy and attended college in the San Francisco Bay area. He ultimately graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Pharmacy. Mike had a career as a pharmacist until his retirement in 1999. He was predeceased by his wife Connie Say. Mike married Connie in July of 1964 and made San Francisco his home for over 50 years. He was blessed with four children Eileen Theresa (Gavin), Michele Ann, Elliott Michael (Frances) and Laura Ellen, and five grandchildren Nathan, Joshua, Jonathan, Reine, and Melia. Mike was an active parishioner at St. Kevin’s Church. He was an avid golfer in his retirement years and enjoyed many family gatherings and vacations.
A viewing will take place at Halsted N.Gray funeral home 1123 Sutter St. San Francisco on May 3, 2018 between 5:00 pm and 8:00pm. Funeral mass at 11:00 am at St. Kevin’s Church, 704 Cortland Ave. Burial to follow immediately at Holy Cross Cemetery.
