James A. Miller, Jr. of North Beach, passed away on January 19, 2017 at the age of 76. James is predeceased by his parents James and Eleanor Miller and his loving wife, Janice. James is survived by his children, James (Armelle) Miller III, Tamara (David) Crosson, John (Tiffany) Miller; his grandchildren, Grace, Jimmy, Paul, Patrick, Sean and Frankie; two sisters, Jane (Sonny) Klopack and Tina Radwanski and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was born and raised in Chicago, IL and moved to San Francisco in 1997. James was an avid reader and loved jazz, fishing, hockey and handicapping horses. He was a fabulous conversationalist with a contagious sense of humor. James enjoyed every moment with his family and friends.
The visitation and mass will be held at 10:00am on Saturday January 21, 2017 at St. Vincent de Paul Church 2320 Green Street, San Francisco, CA with a luncheon to follow at Izzy's 3345 Steiner Street, San Francisco, CA.
