"Widow Norton"
Passed away peacefully on August 19th, 2013 at 7:02am at his home in
Albuquerque, New Mexico, at the age of 90 years. Born on December 12, 1922 in St. Francis Hospital, San Francisco to Maria Dolores Maldonado and Julio Sarria.
Survived by his step brother Hugo Sarria of Nicaragua, nieces and nephew. Jose was known and much respected as the Absolute Empress 1 of San Francisco and The "Widow Norton." He was the founder of the Imperial Courts of United States, Canada and Mexico.
Visitation will be held from 1-9pm on Thursday, September 5th, 2013 at Halsted N Gray, Carew and English, 1123 Sutter Street. A State Funeral will be held at 11AM, Friday, September 6th, 2013 at Grace Cathedral, 1100 California St. followed by a procession to Woodlawn Memorial Park, for his Final Resting.
