Mrs. Doty is the reason I still have my stickers collection. She was very patient with me as a youngster, and used stickers as a special reward system. I had other things going on in my five year old life, and she knew how to work with me to keep me on track. 

She is one of the many reasons why I came out as mellow as I am today. Many teachers do not have the skills to work with troubled children, but she did. I am glad that I had this special woman in my life, as I might have came out a whole lot different.

Rest in Peace, Mrs. Doty.

To her Daughter Elizabeth and the rest of the Doty family:
May you find an in-explainable peace about Doris' passing, despite your grief.
